Marc was approached by Freestream Aircraft Limited to design the interior of his client’s BBJ2 aircraft which is based on a Boeing 737-800 but nearly 6 meters longer.
The BBJ which is significantly larger than most private planes featured: a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, guest sleeping quarters, sitting room, massage room, dining room, living room, crew quarters, galley and multiple lavatories.
Marc designed every element including the cabin linings, lighting, trim, carpeting, – even the latches on the doors; he also designed the seats from the ground up, without the same number of restrictions as when designing for commercial aircraft.
Marc kept the interior neutral using materials such as leather, wool, silk, wood, glass and carbon fibre composites.
